1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using GPAI ("the Service"), operated by Turing Co., Ltd. ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms apply to all users—students, teachers, and parents.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years old to use GPAI
- We do not permit users under 13 and do not knowingly collect information from children under 13
- If we discover we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it immediately
- Parents may contact help@gpai.app to request deletion of their child's information
- Users aged 13-17 should have parental permission before subscribing to paid plans
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
3. Description of Service
GPAI provides AI-powered educational tools including:
- Solver: AI-assisted math and science problem solving with step-by-step explanations
- Visualizer: Interactive visual learning tools for complex concepts
- Cheatsheet: Quick reference guides and formula sheets for study
The Service is available via web and mobile applications.
4. User Content
- You retain ownership of content you upload (assignments, videos, text)
- By uploading, you grant GPAI a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, store, and process your content for providing and improving the Service
- We will not share your content with other users without your consent
- We may remove content that violates these terms
5. Prohibited Conduct
You must not:
- Upload illegal or infringing content
- Interfere with Service operations
- Attempt unauthorized access
- Use automated systems without permission
- Violate any applicable laws
6. Payment Processing
Web Payments
Our web payments are processed by Dodo Payments. Dodo Payments is the Merchant of Record for all web orders.
- Dodo processes all payments and appears on your credit card/bank statement
- Supported methods: Credit/Debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, UPI

Mobile App Payments (In-App Purchases)
Mobile subscriptions are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Apple/Google are the Merchants of Record for in-app purchases
- Payment processing follows Apple/Google policies
- Refunds must be requested through the respective app store
- We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status

7. Subscriptions, Billing & Auto-Renewal
Subscription Plans
We offer individual (Plus) and team subscription plans. Current pricing and plan details are available at gpai.app/pricing.
Automatic Renewal
AUTOMATIC RENEWAL NOTICE
- Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period until you cancel
- You authorize the payment processor to charge your payment method automatically
Team Plan Billing
- Minimum 5 seats included in base price
- Additional seats beyond 5 are billed monthly
- Prorated billing: Seats added mid-cycle are charged proportionally
- Peak-based billing: You are charged for maximum seats used during the period
- Only the Team Owner can manage billing and cancel the subscription
Changes to Subscription Plans, Credits, Limits and Pricing
We may modify subscription plans, pricing, features, usage limits, or credit allocations from time to time to reflect changes in our Services, educational offerings, or business needs.
- Existing subscribers: new prices apply at next renewal
- You may cancel before the new price takes effect
- Where a change materially affects your access to the Services or learning content, we will provide reasonable advance notice through the Service, by email, or by updating these Terms.
- We do not guarantee that any specific feature or learning outcome will remain available for the duration of a subscription.
How to Cancel

- iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → GPAI → Cancel

- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
- No partial refunds for unused portions of the billing period
8. Refund Policy
Mobile In-App Purchases
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google, not GPAI
- Apple App Store: Request via Settings → Apple ID → Purchase History or reportaproblem.apple.com (typically within 14 days)
- Google Play Store: Request via Play Store → Order History (typically within 48 hours, up to 15 days in some cases)
- GPAI cannot process refunds for in-app purchases
Team Plan Refunds
- Refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis
- Unused seats may be eligible for credit toward future billing
- Contact help@gpai.app for Team billing inquiries
Family Plan Refunds
- Family Plan is billed by Dodo Payments.
- Refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Contact help@gpai.app within 7 days of the initial charge.
- Once the Family Plan has been activated and Plus access has been granted to any member, refunds may not be available (see §17 — EU Right of Withdrawal).
- Removing a member, leaving a family, or being removed from a family does not entitle the owner or the member to any refund or proration.
- If we discontinue the Family Plan before the end of a paid billing period, we will either continue providing Family Plan access until the end of that billing period or provide a refund or credit for the unused portion, unless termination is required for legal, security, payment, fraud, abuse, eligibility, or Terms-enforcement reasons.
9. Billing Disputes & Failed Payments
Failed Payments
If your payment fails, we will:
- Notify you via email
- Retry the charge according to processor policies
- Suspend Pro access after failed attempts

Billing Disputes
- For billing errors, contact help@gpai.app within 60 days
- We will investigate and respond within 10 business days
- Chargebacks filed without contacting us first may result in account suspension

- Download PDF receipts for your records
- Team Plan: Detailed seat usage breakdown available
10. Disclaimers
- The Service is provided "as-is" without warranties
- AI-generated content may contain errors and should be independently verified
- Never rely solely on GPAI for high-stakes academic decisions (e.g., final exams, critical assignments)
- GPAI is a study aid, not a substitute for professional instruction
- We are not responsible for academic consequences resulting from reliance on AI-generated content
- You are responsible for your academic decisions based on AI outputs
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted service
11. Limitation of Liability
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you
12. Account Termination
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
- We will provide 7 days notice before termination (except for severe violations)
- Upon termination, you may request export of your data within 30 days
- Termination does not relieve you of payment obligations already incurred
13. Intellectual Property
- GPAI, its logo, and all software, content, and features are owned by Turing Co., Ltd.
- You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service
- "GPAI" is a trademark of Turing Co., Ltd.
14. Privacy
We collect and use your data per our Privacy Policy. We share minimal data with service providers as necessary.
For Users in the European Economic Area (EEA)
- Legal Basis: We process your data based on contract performance, legitimate interests, and where applicable, your consent
- Your Rights: Access, rectification, erasure, data portability, restriction of processing, objection to processing
- Data Transfers: Your data may be transferred to countries outside the EEA. We use Standard Contractual Clauses to protect your data

15. Copyright (DMCA)
We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content infringes your copyright, contact help@gpai.app with:
- Identification of the copyrighted work
- Location of the infringing material
- Your contact information
- A statement of good faith belief
We will terminate accounts of repeat infringers.
16. Dispute Resolution

Before legal action, contact help@gpai.app to attempt resolution within 30 days.
For Korean Users
한국소비자원 (consumer.go.kr) 또는 전자거래분쟁조정위원회를 통한 분쟁조정이 가능합니다.
For US Users
You may have rights under state consumer protection laws including small claims court access.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Korean law, except where consumer protection laws of your jurisdiction prohibit such choice.
For U.S. users: You may have additional rights under U.S. federal and state consumer protection laws (including FTC Act, state auto-renewal laws) that cannot be waived by these Terms.
Korean Users - Right of Withdrawal (청약철회권)
한국 사용자는 전자상거래법에 따라 구매일로부터 7일 이내 청약철회가 가능합니다. 단, 디지털 콘텐츠 이용을 시작한 경우 철회가 제한될 수 있으며, 이에 대해 사전 동의를 받습니다.
EU Consumers - Right of Withdrawal
If you are a consumer located in the European Union, you normally have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving any reason under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU).
However, by purchasing a subscription to the Service and requesting immediate access to digital content and features, you expressly consent to the immediate performance of the Service and acknowledge that you thereby lose your statutory right of withdrawal once the Service has begun. Accordingly, once access to the Service has been granted, refunds may not be available.
18. Family Plan
The Family Plan (where offered) lets one paying account ("Owner") share Plus access with up to four (4) total members, including the Owner, by sending invite links. The following terms apply to the Family Plan in addition to all other sections of these Terms.
18.1 Intended Use
The Family Plan is intended for use by you and a small number of trusted members — typically family or close friends. The Owner is responsible for the conduct of all members joining under the Owner's plan, and for ensuring the plan is not shared beyond the member cap or used for commercial purposes.
18.2 Eligibility
- The Owner must be at least 18 years old and must confirm this when starting the Family Plan checkout.
- Members must meet the general age requirement of §2 (at least 13 years old). Members aged 13–17 should join only with parental permission, and Owners are responsible for confirming such permission for any minor they invite.
- Each user may belong to only one Family Plan at a time, and may not simultaneously be a member of a Team Plan.
- A user with an active individual Plus or Pro subscription cannot join a Family Plan until that subscription is cancelled.
18.3 Pricing, Country Eligibility, and Promotional Status
- The Family Plan is offered as a promotional pricing program available only in selected countries where GPAI elects to make it available. The current list of eligible countries may change at any time without notice.
- Eligibility is determined at checkout by both (a) the country detected from your IP address at the time of checkout, and (b) where verification is enabled, the issuing country of the payment method used.
- We may decline a Family Plan checkout, suspend an active Family Plan, or revoke Plus access granted under the Family Plan if we determine — in our reasonable discretion — that the eligibility criteria are not or are no longer met (for example, where the payment method's issuing country does not match an eligible country, or where access is concentrated outside an eligible country).
18.4 Family Plan Availability and Changes
The Family Plan is an early-access, promotional offering and may not be available in all countries or to all users. We may, at any time, stop offering the Family Plan to new subscribers, limit its availability by country or payment method, change its price, benefits, credit pool, member limit, or discontinue the Family Plan.
For existing paid Family Plan subscribers, material adverse changes will generally take effect at the next renewal after reasonable advance notice, so the Owner may cancel before the change takes effect. If we discontinue the Family Plan before the end of a paid billing period, we will either continue providing Family Plan access until the end of that billing period or provide a refund or credit for the unused portion, unless termination is required for legal, security, payment, fraud, abuse, eligibility, or Terms-enforcement reasons.
We may immediately suspend, restrict, or terminate Family Plan access without refund where we reasonably determine that the plan is being misused, shared beyond the member limit, used to bypass country or payment eligibility controls, or otherwise violates these Terms.
18.5 Member Data Visible to the Owner
To help the Owner manage shared credit usage, the Owner can see, for each member of the Family Plan, the percentage share of the weekly credit pool that member used during the current period. The Owner does not see the member's exact credit count, browsing activity, prompts, content, or any other personal data beyond this percentage share. By accepting a Family Plan invite, the member acknowledges and consents to the Owner receiving this percentage-share information for the duration of the member's participation in the Family Plan.
18.6 Owner Rights and Responsibilities
The Owner:
- pays for the Family Plan and is the sole party authorised to manage billing, payment method, renewal, and cancellation;
- may invite, remove, or replace members at any time;
- may cancel or disband the Family Plan, which generally ends Family-granted Plus access for all members at the end of the current billing period unless earlier termination is required under these Terms;
- is responsible for ensuring invited members meet the eligibility requirements above.
18.7 Member Rights
A member:
- receives Plus access for as long as they remain in the Family Plan and the Family Plan remains active;
- may leave the Family Plan at any time, which ends their Family-granted Plus access immediately;
- does not have access to the Owner's billing, payment method, or invoices;
- keeps any individual Plus or Pro subscription they held separately — Family Plan participation does not modify or cancel a separate individual subscription.
18.8 Removal, Leaving, Cancellation, and Disbanding
- Removal of a member by the Owner or a member voluntarily leaving results in immediate revocation of the Plus access granted to the affected member under the Family Plan.
- Cancellation or disbanding of the Family Plan by the Owner generally ends Family-granted Plus access for all members at the end of the current billing period, unless earlier termination is required for legal, security, payment, fraud, abuse, eligibility, or Terms-enforcement reasons.
- These events do not entitle the Owner or any member to a refund or any pro-rated credit (see §8 — Family Plan Refunds).
- The credit pool already consumed during the current weekly period is not restored when a member is removed, leaves, or is added.
18.9 Owner Account Closure
If the Owner closes or deletes their GPAI account, the Family Plan is terminated at the end of the current billing period (or earlier where required by law or for severe Terms violations). Members will lose Family-granted Plus access at that time. Any individual subscriptions held separately by the members are unaffected.
18.10 No Endorsement of Bypass
Attempting to bypass the country-eligibility, payment-country, or member-cap controls of the Family Plan — including by using a VPN, a payment method issued in a country other than where you reside, or by sharing access beyond the member cap — is a violation of these Terms and may result in revocation of Plus access (without refund), termination of the Family Plan, and account suspension under §12.
19. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms. Significant changes will be posted 30 days in advance. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
