A very long, straight to gently curving fracture zone on the ocean floor, shown as an ancient inactive fault scar crossing oceanic crust and abyssal plain terrain. It appears as a broad to narrow linear ridge-and-trough band or groove with a continuous straight alignment, muted to subdued relief, and a subtle topographic step between the two sides. Ridge-parallel seafloor fabric is offset across the lineament, with trough segments and occasional rugged highs or seamount-like bumps. The surface is dark blue-gray to gray-brown rocky seafloor, partly dusted with sediment, emphasizing the long scar-like discontinuity.
