Mos cascode amplifier

Compact textbook-style schematic of a MOS cascode amplifier core using two vertically stacked MOSFETs, typically two n-channel devices, connected in series. The lower transistor is the common-source input device with its gate as the input terminal and its source at the ground-side node. The upper transistor is the common-gate cascode device with its gate connected to a fixed DC bias. Show straight gate control lines, vertical drain-source conduction paths, the upper drain as the single output node at the top, and the lower source at the bottom. Clean black circuit-symbol line art on a white background; the output may be shown feeding a load from the upper drain.
