Mandible anterior oblique

Human mandible shown as an isolated single lower jaw bone in frontal to slight oblique view, pale ivory to light tan or beige in color, with a smooth cortical bone surface and subtle shading. The bone is U-shaped to horseshoe-shaped, with a broad horizontal body, prominent central chin region with a visible symphysis line, and a curved inferior border. Along the superior border is a tooth-bearing alveolar margin with visible tooth sockets, and mental foramina may be visible on the body. On both sides, ascending rami extend upward from prominent mandibular angles. The superior ends of the rami show the anterior coronoid processes and rounded posterior condylar heads/processes, creating a robust, symmetrical outline of the lower jaw.
