We're going all-in on STEM

GPAI started as a toolbox for studying. Over time we added more — report writing, cheatsheets, PDF notes, notebooks — and each one helped some of you. But the more we spread out, the less sharp each tool became.

So we're making a choice. Right now, GPAI is focusing on the one thing we believe we can do better than anyone:

Deeply understanding STEM problems and working through them with you. And turning hard ideas into visuals you can use right away.

Who we're building for

We build GPAI for people who live in STEM — undergrads grinding through problem sets, researchers, and master's and PhD students. If your days are full of equations, proofs, lab data, and diagrams, GPAI is for you. Every feature decision from here starts with your workflow.

What we're focusing on

Three features, sharpened:

  • Problem — Read a problem, get a clear worked solution, and go further. We're growing this into a full problem workflow: practice with twin problems, generate and edit clean solution sheets, build exam sheets, and grade your answers.
  • Visualizer — Turn a concept into a diagram, plot, or illustration that's ready to drop into your notes, slides, or paper.
  • Chat — The STEM-aware assistant that ties it together — search, explain, and think it through with you.

What we're letting go

To do the above well, we're retiring four features over the coming weeks:

  • AI Report Writer
  • AI Cheatsheet Builder
  • AI PDF Notes
  • AI Notebook

If you've saved work in any of these, please export or back it up before they're removed. This wasn't an easy call, and we're grateful to everyone who used them.

Less, but sharper

Narrowing now is how we move faster. We'll soon ship a cleaner way to move between Problem, Visualizer, and Chat, and each will keep getting sharper. Before long, we want every STEM student and researcher to reach for GPAI first.

Thank you for being part of it.
