1. Adjectives (विशेषण) Adjective क्या है? Adjective वो शब्द होते हैं जो किसी Noun (संज्ञा) या Pronoun (सर्वनाम) की विशेषता (quality), मात्रा (quantity), या संख्या (number) बताते हैं। ये Noun/Pronoun के बारे में 'कैसा', 'कितना', 'कौन सा' जैसे सवालों का जवाब देते हैं। Adjective की पहचान (Trick): अगर कोई शब्द Noun से ठीक पहले आकर Noun के बारे में कुछ बता रहा है, तो वो Adjective होने की संभावना है। उदाहरण: beautiful flower (सुंदर फूल), three books (तीन किताबें), my car (मेरी गाड़ी)। Adjective के प्रकार (Main Types): Adjective of Quality (गुणवाचक विशेषण): Noun के गुण या दोष बताता है। (e.g., good, bad, beautiful, ugly, tall, short) E.g., Mohan helped a German Soldier. यहाँ 'German' शब्द 'Soldier' (Noun) की क्वालिटी बता रहा है कि सिपाही कहाँ का है, इसलिए यह Adjective है। E.g., I have bought these beautiful flowers for my wife. 'beautiful' शब्द 'flowers' (Noun) की क्वालिटी बता रहा है। 'my' शब्द 'wife' (Noun) पर मालिकाना हक (possession) बता रहा है, इसलिए यह Possessive Adjective है। Adjective of Quantity (परिमाणवाचक विशेषण): Noun की मात्रा बताता है (कितना?), जिन्हें गिना नहीं जा सकता। (e.g., much, little, some, any, enough) E.g., She gave some books to her friend. यहाँ 'some' शब्द 'books' (Noun) की मात्रा बता रहा है। यह एक Quantitative Adjective है। Adjective of Number (संख्यावाचक विशेषण): Noun की संख्या बताता है (कितने?), जिन्हें गिना जा सकता है। (e.g., one, two, first, second, many, few) E.g., Sachin scored his second century in that tournament. 'second' शब्द 'century' (Noun) की संख्या बता रहा है। यह Ordinal Adjective है। 'that' शब्द 'tournament' (Noun) को इंगित कर रहा है। यह Demonstrative Adjective है। Demonstrative Adjective (संकेतवाचक विशेषण): Noun को इंगित करता है। (e.g., this, that, these, those) E.g., Kamal sold all those books in 2 Hours. यहाँ 'those' शब्द 'books' (Noun) को इंगित कर रहा है, इसलिए यह Demonstrative Adjective है। Possessive Adjective (संबंधवाचक विशेषण): Noun पर अधिकार या संबंध बताता है। (e.g., my, your, his, her, its, our, their) E.g., We need brave and loyal Soldiers for our Country. यहाँ 'our' शब्द 'Country' (Noun) पर हमारा अधिकार बता रहा है, इसलिए यह Possessive Adjective है। 2. Pronouns (सर्वनाम) Pronoun क्या है? Pronoun वो शब्द होते हैं जो Noun की जगह इस्तेमाल होते हैं ताकि बार-बार Noun को दोहराना न पड़े। ये Noun को रिप्लेस करते हैं। Pronoun की पहचान (Trick): अगर कोई शब्द किसी Noun की जगह पर अकेला आ रहा है और Noun के बारे में कुछ नहीं बता रहा, बल्कि उसे रिप्लेस कर रहा है, तो वो Pronoun है। Adjective और Pronoun में अंतर (Trick): Adjective: हमेशा Noun से पहले आता है और Noun की विशेषता बताता है। (e.g., This book is mine. - 'This' यहाँ Adjective है क्योंकि यह 'book' Noun से पहले आया है।) Pronoun: Noun की जगह अकेला आता है। (e.g., This is my book. - 'This' यहाँ Pronoun है क्योंकि यह 'book' की जगह अकेला आया है।) Word (शब्द) Adjective के रूप में Pronoun के रूप में This This car is fast. (किताब मेरी है) Pronoun के प्रकार (Main Types): Personal Pronoun (पुरुषवाचक सर्वनाम): व्यक्तियों या चीजों के लिए। (e.g., I, you, he, she, it, we, they) Demonstrative Pronoun (संकेतवाचक सर्वनाम): चीजों को इंगित करता है। (e.g., this, that, these, those) E.g., This is my pen. ('This' अकेला आया है) Possessive Pronoun (संबंधवाचक सर्वनाम): मालिकाना हक बताता है। (e.g., mine, yours, his, hers, ours, theirs) E.g., The book is mine . ('mine' अकेला आया है, 'my book' की जगह) Interrogative Pronoun (प्रश्नवाचक सर्वनाम): प्रश्न पूछने के लिए। (e.g., who, whom, whose, which, what) Relative Pronoun (संबंधवाचक सर्वनाम): दो वाक्यों को जोड़ता है और Noun/Pronoun को संदर्भित करता है। (e.g., who, whom, whose, which, that) 3. Noun, Verb, Adjective, Adverb की पहचान यह समझना बहुत ज़रूरी है कि वाक्य में कौन सा शब्द क्या काम कर रहा है। Noun (संज्ञा): व्यक्ति, वस्तु, स्थान या विचार का नाम। सवाल: 'कौन/क्या?' (Who/What?) E.g., Mohan , Soldier , flowers , wife , books , Country , Sachin , century , tournament , Kamal , Hours . Verb (क्रिया): कोई कार्य या अवस्था। सवाल: 'क्या हो रहा है?' (What is happening?) E.g., helped , bought , gave , need , scored , sold . Adjective (विशेषण): Noun या Pronoun की विशेषता बताता है। सवाल: 'कैसा/कितना/कौन सा?' (What kind/How much/Which one?) E.g., German , beautiful , my , some , brave , loyal , our , second , that , those . Adverb (क्रिया विशेषण): Verb, Adjective या किसी दूसरे Adverb की विशेषता बताता है। सवाल: 'कैसे/कब/कहाँ/कितनी बार?' (How/When/Where/How often?) E.g., Kamal sold all those books in 2 Hours . ('2 Hours' यहाँ समय बता रहा है कि क्रिया कब हुई, इसलिए यह Adverbial phrase है) E.g., He ran quickly . ('quickly' बता रहा है कि वह कैसे दौड़ा) 4. वाक्य संरचना (Sentence Structure) को समझना किसी भी वाक्य को समझने के लिए उसके मुख्य भागों (Subject, Verb, Object, Adjective, Adverb) को पहचानना बहुत मददगार होता है। Standard Sentence Structure (सामान्य वाक्य संरचना): Subject + Verb + Object (या Complement) E.g., Mohan (Subject) helped (Verb) a German Soldier (Object - इसमें 'German' Adjective है और 'Soldier' Noun है). E.g., I (Subject) have bought (Verb) these beautiful flowers (Object - इसमें 'these' Adjective, 'beautiful' Adjective, 'flowers' Noun है) for my wife (Prepositional Phrase - इसमें 'my' Possessive Adjective, 'wife' Noun है). Exercise: किसी भी वाक्य को देखकर, उसमें Subject, Verb, Object और Adjectives/Adverbs को पहचानने की कोशिश करें। इससे आपकी समझ और मजबूत होगी।
